The exhibition, which draws the attention of all visitors, presents amazing artifacts from the heritage of Suzdal, among which you can find not only silver and gold items, but also various weapons and rare icons.

This exhibition was created in honor of a significant event – the 1000th anniversary of Suzdal city.
The architects, who put their heart and soul into this project, have created a harmonious display where the golden archways symbolizing the museum-reserve blend seamlessly with the showcases adorned with silver panels, gently reflecting the light and dissolving into the space of the halls.

The concept of lighting for the storefronts is to create a subtle and even illumination that emphasizes the architecture and contents of the space. The lighting aims to make the light invisible, while providing depth and focus on the interior details.

The interior lighting is based on subtlety, with no sharp shadows. The light is evenly distributed, accentuating the shape and volume of the structures, while the delicate glow around objects brings out the metal and stone details, making them more prominent. This unique combination of light gently fills the space while revealing the noble radiance and form of the objects.

It should be noted that many objects in the showcase are presented individually, allowing visitors to focus on and spend more time on each exhibit.

One of the most attractive features of the Refectory is the illumination of the 2-meter-long outrigger cross, which is mounted on a special stand. An LED strip has been installed on the backside of the cross, directing light towards the back wall, creating a soft glow and making the massive golden cross seem to float in mid-air.

The lighting in the Refectory chamber is created using oval-shaped lenses that are aligned with the faces of the arched vaults, emphasizing geometric shapes. Above the visitors' heads, light sparkles and creates caustic reflections, forming a delicate pattern resembling the wings of a mythical bird on the ceiling.
