POP-UP BAR Badoo
A series of eight New Year's Eve parties hosted by the dating app, Badoo, took place in an old mansion located in the heart of Moscow. The project was developed and implemented within a month.
The goal was to create a unique and memorable atmosphere while maintaining the brand's identity through temporary decorations and installations. These solutions had to be consistent with the New Year's theme, as the building served as a venue for New Year celebrations.
The dichroic film has become a source of endless creativity. The film selectively transmits and reflects light, allowing us to hide an unsightly appearance from the outside while creating soft, enveloping colored lighting in the reception area.
At 23:00, the cozy bar on the second floor transforms into a dance floor. The idea of neon lights is embodied in a cybernetic installation above the bar, creating a unique atmosphere for dancing.
It was crucial to make the guests' journey from one floor to another an unforgettable experience. Therefore, we came up with the idea of creating a laser installation spanning the entire staircase, instead of using banal tinsel. The Badoo brand's colors transformed into a luxurious gradient, ranging from bright pink to purple and dark blue, as it rose from the ground floor to the rooftop.
The third floor was a relaxing area where guests could unwind and sit on furry benches or lounge on pillows, admiring the hypnotic scenery. The purple, shady jungle in the lounge area had become a favorite destination for evening guests.
Despite the colorful light that softly illuminated the room, white accent lighting balanced the space, meeting the functional and navigational requirements of each area.
