Yoga-center Ashram
The Ashram Yoga and Spiritual Practices Center is located on the ground floor of a building from the early 20th century and occupies approximately 100 square meters. The space is well-lit and has been transformed into a studio for meditation and spiritual practices using light as the main tool.
On the western wall, there is a bas-relief that serves as the central element of the interior. It depicts a multi-armed deity that protrudes through a vertical plane, adding to the overall atmosphere of the space.
The deity's expression can change depending on the light scenography, which is carefully designed to create different moods. Different lighting conditions allow guests to focus on a particular state of mind depending on the activity taking place in the room.
Soft, diffused light is ideal for active meditation and conscious work. It helps to activate the mind and focus on the present moment. High-contrast lighting is better suited for inner work with the subconscious mind and for deep meditations, as it allows us to delve deeper into our thoughts and emotions.
Accent lighting and an LED line guide the way to the second floor, where the massage room and the aura room are located. Both rooms are in semi-darkness on the second floor, which helps to calm and sharpen sensory perception.
The Casambi control system allows instructors to change lighting scenarios during classes without having to walk around the room.
